Vote!!!

Just another reminder for everyone to go out and VOTE today!!  I already went, and there was no line or no waiting....it was in and out!  Nice.  I wasn't planning on going until this afternoon when Frans got home from work, but as it happens, we woke up to a huge water mess, so he was home cleaning that up!  Something under our kitchen sink broke, so we woke up at 7:00, to the sound of water running....and  thought, okay, that's not the shower, it's not the toilet having just been flushed....OH NO!  We had water in the main bathroom, all down the hall, in the girls bedroom, in the kitchen and dining room and almost into the family room!  what a job cleaning that up!

"Mom, you're not a very good pourer, but, you're a good mom"  melt.my.heart. Don't know how I spilled all that, I must have been in a hurry!

Trent and Chantal

I was just going through my pictures from Trent and Chantal's wedding last Friday night, and these few caught my eye...thought I would share them! 
 

Frank and Barb

Frank and Barb were married on September 27th in a private ceremony with only a few family members and friends in attendance.  I was honored to be asked to photograph the two of them on their special day!  I've known Barb most of my life, and am so happy for the both of them that they have found the loves of their lives!

Jared and Sally

My cousin Sally got married on September 13th to Jared Johnson, and I was thrilled to be a part of their special day!  They were so much fun to photograph and they didn't stop giggling all day!  Here are a few of my favorite photos... although I had a lot of favorites from their wedding!    

baby steps....

My baby girl is walking at 10 1/2 months (my earliest walker)!  She has been flirting with the idea for the last few weeks, and is now finally getting enough confidence to get up and go!  This stage is so much fun for all of us...but then, I think I say that every stage is the best!      hmmm...should I turn around or keep going?
And no sunday is complete without the comics and a nap on the floor!

Steve and Lindsay wedding

Steve and Lindsay were married on September 1st at Val Vista Lakes Country Club.  It was a beautiful setting, and they were a great couple to photograph!  I haven't finished editing all their photos, but here is a sneak peek at a few!  I love how the sun was peeking through the trees during the ceremony...

While in Seattle in August for Adam and Lisa's wedding, I had the opportunity to photograph my best friend Tiffany's girls, and my friend Coutney's little girl Julia.   Here are just a few pictures of these sweet girls!

Adam and Lisa..

Adam and Lisa were married on August 16th in Seattle.  These two are such a cute couple, and I was glad to be part of their special day!  Here are two pictures, and will add more to an album soon!

Juan and Gabriella

   Juan and Gabby were married on June 28th, at the Inmaculate Heart of Mary church in downtown. 

Our family trip....

  As busy as we were in June, with weddings and the bridal show, we still managed to get away to San Diego for five days with our girls.  We had been anxiously waiting for this trip for a long time, and we just couldn't wait for July to go!  We had such a fun time, and got some much needed R&R!  

Kris and Jamie

Kris and Jamie were married on June 20th at the Ocotillo Golf Resort.  It was a HOT day, I think the temp reached 117 at one point!   But we still managed to get some great shots despite the sweltering temps!  These rings hanging off of the bride's boquet were her "something old".  They were her grandmothers rings...I thought that was so neat!
